Epoch Design, LLC recently received a utility patent for its innovative anti-pry latch locking mechanism. The lock-latch mechanism is currently used on all of Epoch Design’s Mail Boss locking security mailbox products.

Because so many other locking mailboxes can be easily pried opened in about 2 seconds with a screwdriver, Epoch Design set about to design an anti-pry lock mechanism that could deter would-be mail thieves.
